A Taste of India

This trip was probably one of the most intense cultural experiences of my life so far…

Granted, we covered quite a lot of ground in the two short weeks we were able to stay in India for  –  Around the golden triangle of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, through India’s ‘spiritual home’ Varanasi, to the cooler climbs of Darjeeling, settled in the Himalayas… And it just goes to show in the photos I’ve brought home with me, how vibrant and varied a country India is.

But regardless of the fact we packed so much into the little time we had, India is still the most relentless place on earth I can imagine! It really does engage each of your senses from the moment you arrive. The only small piece of advice I would give to anybody travelling out there is to just give yourself room for the occasional day off, so you can truly take it all in. Not one of my images was taken without that continuous bustle of noise and energy in the background!

So, I’ve pulled together some of my favourite moments to share here, and I’ve added an even larger selection of images to my print shop so you can enjoy them for yourself at home.
