One of the many brilliant things I get to experience through doing my photography, as you might expect, is getting to know so many different people.. But what I often find most fascinating is seeing the lovely and surprising ways each couple’s relationship fits together.
These guys have such a great dynamic, with Adam’s relentless cheekiness and Sami’s natural grace. Their day at Breadsall Priory totally reflected these aspects, with the whole wedding party looking incredibly classy, but always stopping for a joke and there were some genuine belly laughs along the way.
I loved their twist on the wedding breakfast, getting to enjoy a delicate afternoon tea, whilst they also broke tradition with a trio of Patisserie Valerie cakes, accompanied by some custom Lego characters! (Fellow GBBO fans will notice the impressive Charlotte Russe!)
It was sweet to see Sami and Adam had used some of their engagement photos for their table plan as well, and even whilst there was a little bit of rain, now the big day had come around, we had a gorgeous umbrella on hand so the newly weds could get away on a little romantic stroll together..
Finally, as the evening party kicked off, Sami and Adam danced to a fantastic acoustic rendition of Halestorm’s “Here’s To Us” by the very talented Laura Oakes, which made a lovely personal tribute to their relationship!
